Business Developer - Siderurgia & Industria

What's the role?

The Technical Business Developer - Siderurgia & Industria is a strategic role part of the E&I (Energy and Industry) Brazilian team. You will support our business by working or the strategy for our customers in said segments, leading principal accounts via networking with C-Levels and standarizing solutions for our customers

What does the role involve?

As a Business Developer - Siderurgia & Industria, you will:

  • Examine economic and market trends and conditions that affect the company and develop strategies to take full advantage of any changing circumstances
  • Have long-term strategic thinking to explain and transmit the targets & strategy to customers, peers and management.
  • Develop accounts and be accountable for technical specification and sales development. Plan a week, a month, a year in accordance with the strategy.
  • Able to influence internal and external stakeholders around the strategy while understanding external stakeholders’ pain points and trends to adjust it if need be.
  • Develop senior relationship contacts within the customer’s organization to drive the execution of the account’s strategy
  • Apply product and application knowledge to be able to address the 80/20 of customer questions in confidence and without requiring the support of back-office functions.
  • Identify, understand and deliver high level system selling value proposition; sell a solution and a product.

What you need is:

  • Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering. Other careers only if they have Siderurgia & Industria experience in the field/with related customers
  • Proven experience (direct/indirect) in the Siderurgia segment with main players in the country. Industry experience is a plus
  • Portuguese and English Speaker is mandatory
  • Sales strategy creation and follow up experience is required
  • Selling & Resilience skills are important
  • Self-driven and working autonomously create his/her own planning and tasks to reach the targets.
  • Communication skills to create trust through active listening, influencing without authority, negotiation skills
  • Senior relationship management skills to be capable and confident while speaking to senior and C-level customers.
